Long time no see everyone!!!! I'm really sorry that I haven't been doing much on dA lately. I have been SUPER busy with school work and attempting to finish out this horrible semester on something of a good note. That might not really happen though. Anyway I will try and update this a little more often.

In the meantime I have tagged a few people to do this cool thing that I was tagged to do! Have fun with it!

“6 Weird Habits/Things About Yourself"

Rules:
The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 Weird Habits/Things About Yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a journal about their 6 Weird Habits/Things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment stating, "You are tagged," in their DevPage comments and tell them to read yours.

1) I talk to myself frequently. It doesn't matter if someone else is in the room or not, I just blurt out random sentences or start yelling at myself. Occasionally I will just speak in the third person. Back at my parent's house I at least had the excuse that I was talking to the dog but she isn't up here with me.

2) I love to read but I have ADD when it comes to reading something. That's why I rarely read novels (unless they are REALLY good) and I usually read magazines. I love journalism and writing as a whole and sometimes just reading an article or story will really inspire me.

3) I'm an avid fan of music. I adore all different types of music (except country, which I despise with everything I have) and I can't go an hour without listening to music. I often wanted to pursue a career in music, if it actually paid well and wasn't based on chance. I am a very emotional person so I know a band or musician is good when they move me to tears because I understand them so well. My two top favorite bands currently are Nine Inch Nails and Coldplay (talk about your day and night difference, lol). Also, no matter what anyone else in this world believes, Eminem and Madonna are are musical geniuses.

4) I love learning languages. It's a strange habit of mine but I am fascinated on how other people communicate. As most of you know, I am fluent in Spanish as well as English. I have also learned a bit of Italian, Polish, Japanese, Cambodian, and German. I would love to be fluent in at least 5 different languages but I don't know how realistic that could be. Occasionally I will just watch foreign channels because that's the quickest and dirtiest way to learn a language. I refuse to learn the French language though, for some reason it really doesn't appeal to me.

5) I love to sing!!! But I am very shy singing in front of people. I remember one time I tried out to get into a choir I sang four words of a song and the instructor accepted me right into the choir. Many of my piano and flute teachers have also pushed me to sing as well. Still, I remain very shy about it but the one who probably heard me singing the most was my sister who would listen outside the door to my room and occasionally do her homework while sitting there.

6) I am an avid skier as well!!! I grew up in Utah (which has some of the best powder for skiing and snowboarding, screw Colorado) and so I was skiing since the moment I could stand on my own two feet. Now that I moved to Minnesota I don't really get a chance to do it that much but every year I go back to Utah to ski. Black diamonds (expert runs) still create a fear in me, but I get such a trill from skiing down something practically vertical!
